Silvermaker - Silver Recovery System

This cell type Silver Recovery unit has been a dominant silver recovery system within our company since the early 90’s. Our original system (black unit) is being replaced by our own system.

Manufactured by ECS, the Silver Cube (single cell unit) and the Silver Maker (dual cell unit) can be installed as a gravity overflow system on low volume. However to complement its efficiency and compliance, it is best used with our Ecolution metering systems. The metering system will control the flow rate of the fixer through the Silver Cube and/or Silver Maker, providing timely replacements and efficient silver plating and longevity.

These silver cells have proven to be the preferred cartridge in its class. The main difference with our cartridge over other units is how the steel mesh is wrapped, lined and put together; our quality control is excellent. The second difference is that our cartridge material is lined with a copper edging.

Since copper is an excellent conductor and this unit is non-electrical, the copper acts as a great buffer to begin the collecting process of the silver. Traditional cartridges collect the silver on the outside of the filter, our system absorbs the silver throughout the cartridge acting as a true filter for compliance and recovery efficiency.
