The purpose of the QuickDrain Wash unit is to keep your drains clean and clear of debris. With automatic chemical purges of your fixer and developer, the high pressure flush from the QDW helps prevent ‘bio-slime or sludge’ from adhering to your drain pipes mainly from the photographic industries. This type of sludge build up in your drains is inevitable with any type of silver recovery unit since this is primarily due to the nature of photographic chemicals. The QDW will be a huge improvement to any silver recovery system it is attached to.
