"My name is Shari, and I am the operations assistant of Green Haven Shelter for Women in Orillia. Quite some time ago I was given the task of researching sharps containers, and I started surfing the internet, looking for information. After speaking to the customer service departments of several large medical supply companies, I was becoming a little frustrated. I just wasn’t getting the information I needed from these companies. I really wanted to know what I was buying – what they looked like, how they worked, etc. Luckily, I stumbled across the ECS website and eventually spoke with Trevor Howard. From the first phone call, Trevor took his time and patiently answered my questions about the containers. He emailed me with more information right away, and took time to connect with me by email over the next few months. It took a few months for us to make a decision about the containers but when I called Trevor he remembered who I was and placed the order for us.
The sharps containers were delivered to us and installed last week. They are exactly what we wanted. The man who installed them was very helpful and professional – he did a great job. It isn’t always easy to work in a shelter environment, especially with all the kids underfoot, but he was very patient and thorough.
