WHAT IS A FORM 2B?
A Form 2B is a document created through the Hazardous Waste Information Network that describes all regulated constituents of a particular hazardous waste, its aqueous value, method of treatment, its relevance with LDR and more. As of August 2008 all wastes under T,C & I (Toxic, Corrosive & Ignitable) are subject to LDR which means that any generator of such waste is required by law to complete and keep on file their Form 2B. It is also necessary that the receiver site of such waste also maintains a copy of the generators Form 2B.

As of December 2009 ALL waste classes will be subject to LDR and therefore will require the completion of Form 2B's for all active waste classes. Because this is a legal obligation all 2010 renewals will not be accepted until all wastes have completed forms.
